Bobby Brown? Is That You?

Music runs in the family: her cousin is Dionne Warwick and her godmother is Aretha Franklin. She also has a musical ex-husband (not pictured above), but we won't bring that up. RadioL.L. Cool JBefore Rick Rubin was working his minimalist mojo in the studio with Johnny Cash, he popped his proverbial production cherry with this brash 17-year-old braggart. Boasting sparse, hypnotic production and Ladies Love Cool James' boisterous delivery of infectious lyrics, this Radio must be played loud.

Here’s the Getback Rerun of the commercial to remind you.

INXS Has Only One Rock Star
With all due respect to Mr. J.D. Fortune, INXS will ALWAYS be the band fronted by Michael Hutchence. He was sexy cool and had a bad head of hair. INXS gave the '80s some much-needed soul and swagger. Here's a Michael Hutchence FlipBook. Watch it while you look for your copy of Listen Like Thieves. Check This Out »
