Clapton Chronicles: Best of 1981-1999 gathers videos for 12 of Eric Clapton's most popular singles from the '80s and '90s, ranging from somewhat awkward clips for "Forever Man" and "Bad Love" to more polished videos like "Change the World," "Pilgrim," "Tears in Heaven," and the sepia-toned "Motherless Child." 1999's "Blue Eyes Blue" from the Runaway Bride soundtrack is also included on this concise collection, which may disappoint some fans with its rather brief 60-minute length and its lack of Dolby sound and extra DVD features. However, for Clapton devotees who want just the highlights of his recent work, this disc may be enough. ~ Heather Phares, All Music Guide
