This simple recording of mostly traditional Scottish pieces is played on Celtic Harps and other instruments (bodhran, tinwhistle, cittern, guitar); Glenlivet is her fifth release. Accompanied only by longtime associate Michael MacBean, she spins tales of the old country in a simply delightful manner, patiently delicate and more than capable of filling the proper spaces with finely played runs and fills that seem to work each time.
