Bon Jovi

Recorded specifically for MTV airplay, Keep the Faith: An Evening With Bon Jovi is a one-hour live recording of the band performing their greatest hits in an MTV Unplugged style. The group couldn't quite give up on hard rock, though, and there is just enough electric guitar in the songs to keep them interesting. Acoustic versions of some of Bon Jovi's biggest hits, such as "Livin' On a Prayer," can also be very entertaining to listen to because of their different musical setting, being a nice alternative to the usual hair metal. The video covers most of their hits, along with some newer songs from the Keep the Faith album. This video is suggested to the average Bon Jovi fan, as it could very well be their cup of tea. ~ Barry Weber, All Music Guide
