Yet another repackaging of the Swedish superstars' hits, Singles Collection 1972-82 is a lavish limited-edition package offering no less than 29 individual CDs, each containing the respective A and B sides of every ABBA single released during their decade at the top. Served up in an embossed tin can, it goes without saying that this opulent and expensive release is for diehards only -- classics like "Dancing Queen" and "Fernando" sound just as good on more economical retrospectives like Gold or the Thank You for the Music box set. ~ Jason Ankeny, All Music Guide
