Eric Clapton

Essentially the same contents as the CD release, musically, and a bit more than you get in its MTV version, though a couple of broad edits do show. A really nice show, however, with the acoustic theme giving Clapton a way to demonstrate just how good a guitarist he truly is. Some wonderful blues work, a lot of humor, and a slowed-down version of "Layla" that's truly a highlight. Nice disc transfer, too. ~ Steven McDonald, All Music Guide
