Band Wreckers
Band wreckers are the worst kind of singers. They are those dudes who take advantage of an unstable group relationship and insert themselves in the middle. They break into a band and destroy their happy home. And who suffers? The children do. The children always suffer. All of those fans whose childhood memories of beloved bands are forever dashed by seeing step-singers replace their favorite vocalists.
Here's our FlipBook of the Biggest Band Wreckers Ever. They all have a special place in rock hell reserved for them. A place where hack tribute bands play all day and Barry Manilow plays all night.

Sardonica said "How is she anymore a train wreck than ANY body else, celebrity or not? We all have our issues. She is at least trying to better herself, not trash those around her, or laugh at the misfortunes of others. You're as bad as Perez. YOU are the one that needs to get a life, not her. "
ratt said "Don't the people who read this crap have anything at all better to worry about? Is it REALLY any of your concern what this movie star or that musician is up to in their personal lives? Did any of you useless tabloid bottom feeding twats notice that I used the word PERSONAL? Not likely, because the people that read this stuff don't think anyone has a life that they can't have access to. A word for those who have nothing better to do than concern themselves about others in the spotlight... pathetic."
jesslisby said "rynn phillips needs to get over his self...he is the one whom made his own problems. mabye if he kept his pants on and didn't treat his wife at the time with such disregaurd, he might still have full custody of his children, and a wonderful wife..look what you traded down for. but bravo to reese...look who she traded up for."
jesslisby said "I think that larry is doing wonderful by dannielynn. he is not perfect or claiming to be. he tries to be the best dad to her and to give her everything that she needs. he is a wonderful man, and loving....so dannielynn will turn out to be the same way...good kuck in the future..."
jesslisby said "I personaly think that Sonny is better off with jesse and sandra.she has her father and another woman whom is not her mother to teach her to be a honest, compassionat and trustyworthy young lady. which her so called mother could not of ever taught her.her mother teaches her to lie and steal. What type of mother is that. if sunny was to stay with her mother, she would only learn to be a horrible person with no morals or values. is that what you would want for your child or yourself growing up. sunny is a child yes....but she knows tha jesse and sandra are trying to protect her and give her a good life. at least sandra cares about her and loves her..."

Tommy should remember that he came in after Styx already had 5 albums, and major hits including Lady and Suite Madam Blue. Somehow or another, it became Tommy Shaw and the Styx tribute band.

Actually, Black Sabbath had a slew of line up changes over the years. I believe that most of the singers they had were better than Ozzy. Ronnie, Ian Gillan, and Tony Martin being the cream of that crop.

Obviously you weren't a huge fan of Metallica with Dave MUSTAINE or you'd know how to spell his name.

How about Chris Cornhole & Rage against the Machine?
Or Venom kicking Cronos out of the band.
Does anyone remember Metallica when they had Dave Mustang singing.

you forgot Motley crue the new singer in 94 wasnt that good & most fans didnt like it.
I agree Rob halford was the original singer.
also lets Not forget how Brian Jhonson has been with AC/DC for 28 years & was accepted easy & still is liked very much. Also some bands do get better like Anthrax & Exodus replacing singers.
But you cant picture some one els singing for Aerosmith or Rolling stones

Pineda brought Journey back to rock. Now Journey is Journey with out more chic's song's. Saw them this summer in a soldout show in Dallas. Bought they CD and can't put it down to rest. Pineda has the voice, same range as Steve, but different feeling.
I think you should lisent closely to their latest production again. MG in Grand Prarie Tx.

Arnel Pineda can sing and not just Journey songs but Scorpions, Led Zep etc. Name it and he can kind of make you forget about ya'lls absentee Frontmen. Stop being childish. Life is Rock and Roll; Don't dwell too much in the past....move on. ..Grow up.

I agree! Finally the loss of Dennis De Young was mentioned. As far as I'm concerned, he and Steve Perry are irrreplaceable. And as far as Peter Cetera is concerned....he brought many great hits to Chicago. Van Halen is great with Roth or Hagar. We all have our different views and shouldn't be criticized for them.

Well I think Lynard Skynard sounds great with Little Brother on the mic! But I would prefer to hear Michael McDonald with Doobie Brothers. Same with Skid Row, bring back Bach. And Yes DIO! Ozzy kicks butt! But DIO kicks ASS!!

Hey Marc (with a 'C') Dago, what are you like 12 years old or something? I have seen the REAL SABBATH and I have also seen DIO when he was with BLACKMORE'S RAINBOW, and yes DIO is aGREAT singer and frontman but to say he is better than OZZY is fucking reDICKulous!!! That is the kind of mentality that breeds these new "Rock Bands", i.e. Daultry or however he or they spell it. Dude they are both great in my mind but you can never replace the original no matter how good they are. How about Justin Timberlake to replace Mick Jagger, or maybe 50 Cents to replace Hendrix, hey why not....you get the picture. I seen Thin Lizzy before Phil died, Alice in Chains before Layne died, Journey with Steve, Judas Priest on Sunset Blvd. before 600 people in the croud, Motley Crew when they were a bar band. I could go on and on. The point is NONE of these bands are better off with a lousy clone as a replacement. Next thing you know they will replace Dave Matthews with a new singer and keep the name!!!
