i firmly believe celine dion, as well as michael, chris, and ashlee, can really sing far better than the one who put them on this list...

I'll agree with Fred Durst, Anthony Keidis, Madonna, Paris Hilton, Kanye West, Yoko Ono, and Miley Cyrus. None of them have gotten where they are based on the vocal abilities. First off, Madonna has always been about sex appeal. Second, Kanye and Fred Durst just rap, which has nothing to do with vocals. Paris Hilton wasted all our time by dabbling in something she had no clue about. What is she really talented at anyway? Miley Cyrus can barely act her way out of a paper bag, but she had millions of young followers who aren't old enough to know the difference. That's where her main fan base comes from in music as well. As for Yoko Ono and Anthony Keidis, they just suck. As for the other half, Michael Bolton and Celine Dion have exceeded the definition of talent a thousand times over. Jesse McCartney is talented as well. He just isn't for everyone. Chris Brown does have a good voice. You can't base his stupidity on his real talent. With Ashlee Simpson, she's not the best, but she's not bad either.

Whoever put Micheal Bolton and Celine Dion in this list is truly an idiot. who is this person to judge, what are his credentials, who has he managed, produced, performed with or taken lessons from? i can agree with most of these choices because they are teenie boppers whose souls have been devoured by disney and the like however, calling 2 of adult contemporary's brightest and best voices of all time "worst" is simplest the "worst decision this writer made.

Brenda Carlisle of the Go Go's is the worst singer I have ever heard become famous...so is Gwen Stefani..absolutely gut-wrenching horrible. Where are they on this list?

I concur with najames1987 however I will never put Janet Jackson in that category as she is a dancer/performer not a singer as Ms Jackson herself has indicated. PERFORMER.........

Where is Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez, Shakira, Ashanti, Ciara, Cher, Janet Jackson, Rihanna, and a slew of others? There are a ton of guys who are missing from this list as well. And Celine Dion does NOT belong on this list. Kanye is a rapper, no one is supposed to take him seriously as a singer anyway. They need to expand on this list and delete Celine Dion and Michael Bolton, who both CAN sing, and Kanye West who in reality isn't really marketing himself as a singer anyway but rather is just participating in the "rappers who sing" trend. He knows he can't sing. I am glad they put Madonna and Chris Brown on here though. I thought I was the only one who noticed they can't sing. No people, Madonna CAN’T sing. She made her millions off of her successfully crafted image based on selling sex and controversy (the old sayings “sex sells” and “there’s no such thing as bad publicity” should come to mind people) and she combined in with catchy pop tunes. Controversial, yet attention grabbing image combined with catchy pop songs equals millions of dollars almost every time. You Madonna fans with your chants of “She’s the queen of pop” and crap are completely ignoring the fact that while she is extremely successful, this has no bearing on her talent or lack their of. She can’t sing. Her voice IS bad. That doesn’t mean she can’t still be “the queen of pop” or whatever. Her lack of talent is irrelevant in her case, it doesn’t mean her talent exists however. Her talent is in putting on a show, shocking people, being controversial, and otherwise drawing attention to herself. That does NOT mean she can sing. Don’t take it so personally Madonna fans; she’s still a huge success regardless of the fact that she can’t sing.

Beyonce should be the first one on this list since she can't carry a tune for half a second. That's why she makes her annoying voice go up and down. Even in the hair commercials her voice is annoying. Singers have good ears so they speak with nice clear voices.
