conexn is right there should be a cable-tv channel devoted just too 80's television...i think he said it best, the simplicity, the action and adventure, the shows etc. Not to mention the screen-roles seem to be much better. The plots were great and of course the stunts as well. Even the cartoons for god-sake were awesome...that's why they're making remakes of cartoons such asTRANSFORMERS, GI-JOE, AND OTHERS.
Ah, the A-Team, what a show for the ages...every character brought there own colorful personality to the table, that made it a hit. And they're remaking an A-Team movie as well.

The "A-Team" was one of the great shows of the 80's along with Airwolf, & Knight Rider, but I do have to say I liked the A-Team the most.
Every generation has a time in there life that they will always be glad they were alive at the time, mine was the 80's. I have wished serveral times I could go back and re-live the 80's, it was a day of simpler times and good memories, to myself it was the golden years of TV.
It seems everytime a new channel pops up they always start with the good shows from the 80's (I.e. Sleuth). Once they get there start they remove the shows that got them there start and move on to showing the same old thing all the other channels show. I only wish I can maybe start a 80's channel and put the great shows on fromt he 80's as regular programing.

I heard both Dirk and Dwight a couple of months ago on "The Dennis Miller Show" (Miller's radio talk show). It was great hearing from both of them and know that they are still doing well. They had some great stories about the days of filming "The A-Team". It was also good to know that they are still close friends to this day.

The one bright spot of the week for my husband was watching the "A" team. He was dying of cancer, and he got so involved in their adventures that he got many laughs. His favorite was Mr. T. I didn't realize that they didn't start their show until 1983, but I'm grateful for the fun they gave to my husband. He died on Christmas Eve, 1983.
