The fifth season of "Rescue Me" premieres this week, and we're counting the minutes until Denis Leary and the crew are back. Seriously, "Rescue Me" is like a drug to us. It's got the addictive quality of crack mixed with the come-hither fantasies of a romance novel, with the added bonus of having no reading involved.
Not since "Providence's" Jon Hamm (yes that Jon Hamm, pre-"Mad Men") has a fireman heated up our TV screens so intensely. But it wasn't until recently that we realized we had a thing for TV firemen and didn’t even know it. I watched Rescue Me for the first time last night, and LOVED it!! But my all time favorite is Third Watch, which sadly, is not on anymore. So I'm watching re-runs every morning. If you have never had the pleasure of watching it, it's on A&E every morning here in Phx at 7:00 am. I just don't understand why they canceled it because it is sooo exciting!! Check it out!!! LW
