First of all you’ve got to admire the guy for sticking with the name Sweat (although there is some debate about whether or not his birth name is really Crier). One simple letter change and he could have been Keith Sweet. Now that’s an R&B singer name. He must have decided to keep the sweet for the music – smooth, soulful. With six platinum records, Sweat released his latest in 2008 called Just Me. Not bad for a kid from Harlem and ex-commodities trader.
