I thought Simon LeBon of Duran Duran would've made this list. Before joining the group, he was a hospital porter, a milkman's assistant and a tree surgeon!! I think he's best as vocalist...without a doubt!
The second-season "American Idol" runner-up worked as a YMCA camp director in his native Raleigh, North Carolina. Unlike most summer jobs Clay Aiken's work at the Y became a lifelong pursuit. He went on to become a substitute teacher for autistic children prior to joining "American Idol." And along with the mom of one of his former students, he launched the Bubel/Aiken Foundation in 2003 to support children with disabilities.
