Christmas has played a big part in Jon Bon Jovi's career. First was the Christmas-decorations gig in New Jersey. He must have still had a holiday glow when he worked as a janitor at his cousin's recording studio in 1980. He was asked to sing the song "R2-D2 We Wish You a Merry Christmas" (under his real name, Jon Bongiovi). It was his first recording job. Finally, in 1994, he recorded "Please Come Home for Christmas" for the charity album "A Very Special Christmas 2." It's always Christmas somewhere in Bon Jovi land.

I thought Simon LeBon of Duran Duran would've made this list. Before joining the group, he was a hospital porter, a milkman's assistant and a tree surgeon!! I think he's best as vocalist...without a doubt!
