As a solo artist and with the Miami Sound Machine, Gloria Estefan is one of the most popular crossover Latin artists in history. One thing you need to cross over (aside from talent)? Languages. At least a couple. Estefan knows three: Spanish, English, and French. She used all of them while working at Miami International Airport's customs department. I bet she doesn't have to take off her shoes at airport security.

I thought Simon LeBon of Duran Duran would've made this list. Before joining the group, he was a hospital porter, a milkman's assistant and a tree surgeon!! I think he's best as vocalist...without a doubt!
