Are we the only ones who were blown away when we saw Kathy Griffin's super hot bikini body at the 2009 GLADD awards? Kathy herself has admitted to body issues. She's had plastic surgery, and we've watched her exercise and try to eat right on her reality show, "Life on the D-List." But clearly Kathy is finally doing something right. So as we prepare to slip into our swimsuits for the first time this summer (and believe us, we expect to be sadly STUNNED by what we see in the mirror), we decided to look back at some of our favorite swimsuit shockers.

Isn't it amazing how there was no airbrushing back then and women were shown in true form?? Look at the stretch marks on Raquel Welch's hip! And men and women alike adored and admired her just the same. What a concept!

Yes, I think that Nicole Ritchie went a little overboard on getting thin, but she is still so beautiful and can you blame her? even at a normal weight she was being critiqued for being the "fat one" when she was filming with Paris Hilton on their reality show. I didn't think that she was fat then. But thanks to the media, the poor girl can never be perfect. She was either seen as too fat or too skinny. It's a shame that people criticize other people so much. Words hurt too.

Geez, wtf? You losers all want to hate on Kathy Griffin because her comedy is "mean" and yet look at the kinds of things you're saying about her. And your excuse? "Yeah but she deserves it"? That doesn't fly. Little children use that excuse to bully. At least Kathy's only kidding around and making people laugh.
And her body looks fantastic in her suit, considering she's 50 and while she's had facework done, she's never had plastic surgery on her body. I'd like to see how many of you have bodies that look that good at her age.

Wow people what the heck ok ya its a bad swiming suit but honestly she is drop dead beautiful ok her natural curves and everthing un like the other people like nicole and paris and demi and selena and mily the try way to hard to look good and the end up looking FREAKEN terrible all the make up that demi selena and miley wear the amount that paris and nicole eat it so bad for there body and ok ya kathy has 1 bad swiming suit moment and you rip her to shreads i bet you people have had worse moments
