The word "diva" has to be the most overused and misappropriated word in the music business (next to "genius"). It also ignores a whole group of females who have spent a lifetime making music, which goes deeper than eye shadow. Give me a woman who sweats over a guitar any day.
Here's our anti-diva list. No Maybelline sponsorships. No sequins. No gowns. Just raw sensuality, charm, and brains as only a true woman can provide. These anti-divas derive strength from the power of their musical prowess. They don't employ stylists - just guitar techs.

On Celebrity Reality TV Trainwrecks...Chopergirl said "I have always loved her. She has been a very good part of entertainment - I remember when she was in Roots. AND then CHEERS, and then the talking babies with John Travolta. My gosh, we all have problems, and with those come stress eating at times...She is beautiful regardless of what she weighs, and not only physically beautiful, but also beautiful inside. She has had her heart broke just like the rest of us, and struggles like the rest of us....to bad people expect her to be perfect as that is what imperfect people like to see - someone perfect to make them feel better. Projecting their OWN disappointment onto others, in some sick way, makes them feel a little better. That is a terrible post about her. I will watch her show."

as much as i love the pretenders i have to agree, pee bee. famous for leather pants and hooker heels but is outspokenly vegetarian for animal rights? she's a loud mouthed dingbat.

I Saw Chrissie operate in Amsterdam one concert night while I was in the entourage of her support act. During the soundcheck, the support acts' bass player amp broke down and she vetoed the use of her bassplayer's stack. He was ok with it, she wasn't.
During her own gig she stopped the concert several times to have her security people pull fans out of the crowd and throw them outside because they made flash photos. These poor kids probably had no idea how to turn off their flash, but Chrissie found it appropriate to only allow flashless photos that night. The result was a really cosy concert atmosphere: "You, you and you-OUT!"
Afterwards I saw her ordering her people to stop an already occupied taxi traveling towards downtown Amsterdam, pull the people out and get in herself. She shouldn't be in the non-diva list. She should be at #1 on the bitch list.
