Chopergirl said "I have always loved her. She has been a very good part of entertainment - I remember when she was in Roots. AND then CHEERS, and then the talking babies with John Travolta. My gosh, we all have problems, and with those come stress eating at times...She is beautiful regardless of what she weighs, and not only physically beautiful, but also beautiful inside. She has had her heart broke just like the rest of us, and struggles like the rest of us....to bad people expect her to be perfect as that is what imperfect people like to see - someone perfect to make them feel better. Projecting their OWN disappointment onto others, in some sick way, makes them feel a little better. That is a terrible post about her. I will watch her show."
Sardonica said "How is she anymore a train wreck than ANY body else, celebrity or not? We all have our issues. She is at least trying to better herself, not trash those around her, or laugh at the misfortunes of others. You're as bad as Perez. YOU are the one that needs to get a life, not her. "
ratt said "Don't the people who read this crap have anything at all better to worry about? Is it REALLY any of your concern what this movie star or that musician is up to in their personal lives? Did any of you useless tabloid bottom feeding twats notice that I used the word PERSONAL? Not likely, because the people that read this stuff don't think anyone has a life that they can't have access to. A word for those who have nothing better to do than concern themselves about others in the spotlight... pathetic."
jesslisby said "rynn phillips needs to get over his self...he is the one whom made his own problems. mabye if he kept his pants on and didn't treat his wife at the time with such disregaurd, he might still have full custody of his children, and a wonderful wife..look what you traded down for. but bravo to reese...look who she traded up for."

I know he has issues, but how can we leave out Michael Jackson? I grew up along with he and his brothers. Everybody loved Michael!

You're kidding...David Cassidy ought to have been #1; Shaun should have been in the top 20; but #1 of all time? I don't think so.

Oh come on. Were you people born yesterday? Typical newbies to pop culture who are blissfully unaware of anything pre-1965. Let's try some other teen idols such as Annette Funicello, Frankie Avalon, Fabian, Elvis Presley, Hayley Mills, Judy Garland, Mickey Rooney, Frank Sinatra and others. I'd guess that the top two should be Sinatra and Elvis.
If you want to portray yourself as an expert on pop culture, you might try exploring the entire phenomenon, not just a few recent years.

ok, Shaun #1? Not! My older sisters have the scoop on all this, as I was a younger brother Monkee fan. (So I am privy towards Davy Jones). But, having been exposed to Partridge Family albums, DVDs, etc., and teen idols, I have to say David Cassidy should be number #1. He had it all, voice, talent, convincing acting, and sold out stadiums on his own right I might add. As a Pink Floyd fan, dare I say, I even like a few David Cassidy songs? Good bubble gum music. Gee, at least put Leif Garret before Shawn Cassidy!

Donny was gorgeous then and he today at the age of 51, he is still gorgeous! I also, was fan of David and Shaun Cassidy, and John Travolta. I wonder why Erik Estrada wasn't in with this?

I knew Davy would be on this list. Even though "The Monkees" debuted in 1966, the 1986 reunion tour and TV show being re-run on MTV brought an entire new generation of fans. There were more girls, like their mothers 20 years earlier, who were swooning over Davy, Micky, Peter and Mike.
I was shocked that Christopher Atkins didn't make the top 10, though. He's most famous for "The Blue Lagoon", but I LOVED him as Frederic in "The Pirate Movie" and his song "How Can I Live Without Her", which made the charts in the early 80's.
I like Shaun Cassidy and still have his album to this day, but I don't think he's number 1. Johnny Depp seems to have the "longevity" of any of the top 10, over 25 years, so I think that should make him number 1.
