Since Barack Obama's historic Presidential election, there's been a lot of talk about The Cosby Show and how it primed America for an African-American first family. What goes unnoticed are all of the other shows that inspired Obama's meteoric rise. No one discusses how Sanford & Son gave him comfort living in a fatherless home or how The Jeffersons showed Obama the power of a crisply dry cleaned suit.
