Gilda Radner was pretty good - but NO WAY top ten...what about adam sandler - he certainly deserves to be on the list - he was awesome - and the new cast ...andy samberg blows doors on phil hartman not even close...not to mention chris rock - david spade...CHRIS FARLEY!!!...please revisit this list

Top Ten SNL Cast Members Of All Time

Amy Poehler SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE CAST

Election season is over, so we’ve most likely seen the last of Tina Fey on Saturday Night Live and to add insult to injury Amy Poehler is not returning after the birth of her baby, Archie. So we wonder, has the SNL hot streak come to a grinding halt? For a fleeting moment, the show appeared to channel the talents of casts-gone-by, but we’re not convinced any of the remaining ensemble can ever live up to the legacy of our Top 10 cast members. We chose purely on Not-Ready-For-Primetime performance, not on any extra-curricular activities performed on other days of the week. No movies, TV shows, or stand-up specials swayed our judgment.
