Escape Velocity
Being careful about giving rides to strangers is just as important in outer space as it is on earth, as shown in this science fiction thriller. In the 22nd century, a pair of scientists who happen to be husband and wife, Nash (Peter Outerbridge) and Billie (Wendy Crewson), are sent on a special mission to study and record the activities of a dying red star from an observational space craft; accompanying them is their teenage daughter, Ronnie (Michelle Beaudoin). One day, Nash and Billie discover a small escape pod from a larger spaceship; they retrieve the tiny vessel and discover a man inside, Cal (Patrick Bergin), in a state of suspended animation. When the man is brought on board and revived, they soon make the unpleasant discovery that Cal is a murderous lunatic -- who happens to be attracted to their daughter, and who can't be gotten rid of easily. ~ Mark Deming, All Movie Guide

On The Anti-Diva List...hollylolly said "my cousin went to the same arts magnet schooh as norah jones *i didn't know this* so when i went home to texas she was flipping through my ipod and randomly exclamed "norah jones is a bitch" and it was just so odd it was funny... apparently she was rude to almost everyone and acted really entitled and basically like a diva who thought she was better than everyone.. lol i mean i don't know people do change but i just though it was funny to see this because everytime i hear her name i always thing "what a bitch" haha "

On Celebrity Reality TV Trainwrecks...Chopergirl said "I have always loved her. She has been a very good part of entertainment - I remember when she was in Roots. AND then CHEERS, and then the talking babies with John Travolta. My gosh, we all have problems, and with those come stress eating at times...She is beautiful regardless of what she weighs, and not only physically beautiful, but also beautiful inside. She has had her heart broke just like the rest of us, and struggles like the rest of us....to bad people expect her to be perfect as that is what imperfect people like to see - someone perfect to make them feel better. Projecting their OWN disappointment onto others, in some sick way, makes them feel a little better. That is a terrible post about her. I will watch her show."
