GetBack Media Inc. ("GetBack") is a broadband entertainment community and pop culture marketplace. GetBack strives to make your GetBack experience an interesting way to interact, share, learn and grow. The GetBack Privacy Policy ("Privacy Policy") describes how GetBack collects, uses and protects your information it collects when you visit GetBack takes your privacy seriously. This policy covers how GetBack Media Inc. treats personal information that GetBack collects and receives, including information related to your past use of GetBack products and services (the "GetBack Site") and/or use GetBack's various communications tools, forums, shopping services, search services, personalized content and branded programming (the "Service").
WHAT
Personal information is information about you that is personally identifiable like your name, address, email address, or phone number, and that is not otherwise publicly available.
This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that GetBack does not own or control, or to people that GetBack does not employ or manage.

INFORMATION IS COLLECTED: Collection and Use
GetBack may collect two (2) types of information about you: Personal and Non-Personal.
"Personal Information" Personal Information refers to information about the specifics of who you are and which may be used to identify, contact or locate you (e.g. your name, mailing address, e-mail address, phone number, GetBack collects personal information when you register with GetBack, when you use GetBack products or sercices, when you visit GetBack pages or the pages of certain GetBack partners, and when you enter promotions or sweepstakes. GetBack may combine information about you that we have with information we obtain from business partners or other companies
When you register we ask for information such as your name, email address, birth date, gender, ZIP code, occupation, industry and personal interests). , and personal interests. For some merchandise services we might also ask for your address, Social Security number , and billing information. When you register with GetBack and sign in to our services, you are not anonymous to us.
GetBack collects Personal Information when you register an account with GetBack (your "User Account") or when you use the Service.information about your transactions with us and with some of our business partners, including information about your use of merchandise services that we offer.
"Non-Personal Information" Non-Personal Information refers to information that, by itself, does not identify you as a specific individual (e.g. demographic information or website visitations). GetBack may collect Non-Personal Information automatically through the use of industry standard technologies described further below.
HOW INFORMATION IS COLLECTED
Information You Provide
GetBack collects Personal Information when you: (a) create a User Account; (b) use the Service; (c) visit GetBack.com or web pages affiliated with GetBack partners; (d) enter promotions or sweepstakes; or (e) conduct transactions with GetBack or its business partners (this may include additional Personal Information such as credit card information or information about the products or services you purchase).
Information Obtained Through Technology
While you are able to visit the GetBack Site and remain anonymous, GetBack or its third party service providers may still collect Non-Personal Information about your use of the GetBack Site (e.g. your Internet browser, operating system, IP address, connection speed, and the domain name of your Internet service provider). Such information may be gathered by the following methods:
GetBack automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your browser, including your IP address, GetBack cookie information, and the page you request.
a) Cookies. Cookies are small pieces of information that are stored by your browser on your computer's hard drive which work by assigning to your computer a unique number that has no meaning outside of the GetBack Site. Cookies do not generally contain any Personal Information. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually configure your browser to prevent this. Not accepting cookies may make certain features of the Service unavailable to you. Some promotions or sweepstakes may use cookies in order to track your progress and track the number of entries. Other companies' use of their cookies is subject to their own privacy policies,
b) IP Address. You may visit many areas of the GetBack Site anonymously without the need to register a User Account. Even in such cases, GetBack may collect IP addresses automatically. An IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer whenever you begin Services with an Internet services provider. Each time you access the GetBack Site and each time you request one of GetBack's pages within the GetBack Site, the server logs your IP address.
c) Web Beacons. Web beacons are small pieces of data that are embedded in web pages and e-mails. GetBack may use these technical methods in HTML e-mails that GetBack sends to users to determine whether they have opened those e-mails and/or clicked on links in those e-mails. The information from use of these technical methods may be collected in a form that is Personal Information. GetBack may include web beacons from third parties and affiliates within pages served by GetBack so that GetBack's advertisers may receive auditing, research and reporting information. GetBack requires its partners to disclose in their privacy policies the presence of web beacons on their pages and to state what choices are available to users regarding the collection and use of this information.
HOW INFORMATION IS USED
GetBack uses Personal and Non-Personal Informationinformation for the following general purposes: (a)to customize the advertising and content you see; (b) improve the Service; (c)see, fulfill your requests for additional products and services; (d)services, improve our services, contact you; (e)you, conduct research; research, and (f) provide anonymous reporting for internal and external clients.

INFORMATION IS SHARED Sharing AND DISCLOSED Disclosure
GetBack does not rent, sell, or share Personal Informationpersonal information about you with other people or non-affiliated companies except to provide products or services you have've requested, when GetBack haswe have your permission, or under the following circumstances:
a) GetBack provides Personal Information. We provide the information to trusted partners who work on behalf of or with GetBack under confidentiality agreements. These companies may use your Personal Informationpersonal information to help GetBack communicate with you about offers from GetBack and our marketing partners. However, these companies do not have any independent right to share or disclose any Personal Information.this information.
b) GetBack respondsWe respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims.
c) GetBack shares Personal InformationWe believe it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of GetBack's Terms of Service located at terms of use, or as otherwise required by law.
d) If We transfer information about you if GetBack is acquired by or merged with another company. In this event, GetBack will notify you before Personal Information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
GetBack also allows you to post Personal Information (which may include, but is not limited to, your name, photographs, video, location or e-mail) about yourself but provides privacy settings and other tools to enable you to decide who can view this information. When you set up a User Account, you are given the opportunity to create a linked network of friends. This happens through your use of GetBack's integrated communications, content and community services (e.g. GetBack Music, GetBack Movies, GetBack Games, GetBack Life&Style, GetBack Shopping, GetBack Sports, GetBack ScrapBook, GetBack Trivia and GetBack Search).
Please be aware that whenever you voluntarily postGetBack displays targeted advertisements based on personal information. Advertisers (including ad serving companies) may assume that people who interact with, view, or click targeted ads meet the targeting criteria for example, women ages 18-24 from a particular geographic area.
GetBack does not provide any personal information through to the GetBack Site, that advertiser when you interact with or view a targeted ad. However, by interacting with or viewing an ad you are consenting to the possibility that the advertiser will make the assumption that you meet the targeting criteria used to display the ad.
GetBack advertisers include financial service providers (such as banks, insurance agents, stock brokers and mortgage lenders) and non-financial companies (such as stores, airlines, and software companies).

Cookies
GetBack may be accessed by people who in turn may use the information to send you unsolicitedset and access GetBack cookies on your computer.
GetBack lets other companies that show advertisements on some of our pages set and access their cookies on your computer. Other companies' use of their cookies is subject to their own privacy policies, not this one. Advertisers or other companies do not have access to GetBack's cookies.
GetBack uses web beacons to access GetBack cookies inside and outside our network of web sites and in connection with GetBack products and services.
Your Ability to Edit and Delete Your Account Information and Preferences
You can edit your GetBack Account Information, including your marketing preferences, at any time.
New categories of marketing communications might be added to the Marketing Preferences page from time to time. Users who visit this page can opt out of receiving future marketing communications. from these new categories or they can unsubscribe by following instructions contained in the messages they receive.
We reserve the right to send you certain communications relating to the GetBack service, such as service announcements, administrative messages and the GetBack Newsletter, that are considered part of your GetBack account, without offering you the opportunity to opt out of receiving them.

Confidentiality and SECURITY
GetBack takes appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access or disclosure of your Personal Information. These include internal reviews of GetBack's data collection, storage and processing practices and electronic security measures, as well as physical security measures to guard against unauthorized access to systems where we store to personal data.
We restrict access to Personal Information to only information about you to employees, contractors and agents who we believe reasonably need to know come into contact with that information in order to operate, develop or improve the GetBack Site and Service. These individuals are bound by confidentiality agreements and may be subject to discipline, including termination and criminal prosecution, if they fail to meet these obligations.
EDITING AND DELETING YOUR ACCOUNT INFORMATION AND PREFERENCES
You can edit your Personal Information and other preferences through your User Account. New preferences, including marketing material, may be added from time to time and your decision to accept these preferences is determined by you through your User Account.
You can delete your User Account. Due to the nature of GetBack's server backup polices, a deleted User Account may remain on GetBack's servers for a short period, but will not be available to other GetBack members.
THIRD PARTY LINKS.
The Service may contain links to third parties who may to provide online or downloadable applications via the GetBack Site (e.g. web games, gadgets or other similar downloads) as well as to links to websites outside of the GetBack Site. These third parties may collect Personal Information and Non-Personal Information directly from you. Additionally, GetBack may use third parties to provide components of the Service or the GetBack Site. In either case, such third parties may have separate privacy policies and data collection practices, independent of GetBack. GetBack: (a) has no responsibility or liability for these independent policies or actions; (b) is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such websites; and (c) does not make any warranties or representations about the contents, products or services offered on such websites or the security of any information you provide to them. to you or in order to do their jobs.
ADVERTISING
Ads appearing on the GetBack Site may be delivered to you by GetBack or by one of GetBack's advertising partners. GetBack's advertising partners may set cookies to recognize your computer each time they send you an online advertisement. In this way, ad servers may compile information about where you, or others who are using your computer, saw their advertisements and determine which ads are clicked on. This information allows an ad network to deliver targeted advertisements that they believe will be of most interest to you. This Privacy Policy does not cover the use of cookies by any advertisers. GetBack may use your Personal Information to send you e-mails periodically listing promotions, sweepstakes, events or changes relating to the GetBack Site, the Service or from GetBack's marketing partners or sponsors. Once GetBack has processed your opt-out request, GetBack will not send you promotional e-mails unless you opt back in to receiving such communications.
SPECIAL NOTICE CHILDREN UNDER AGE 13
You must be over the age of 13 in order to register a User Account. If you are under the age of 13, you must not attempt to register with GetBack and/or submit any Personal Information to us. GetBack does not knowingly collect Personal Information from a person under the age of 13 or allow them to register. If it comes to GetBack's attention that Personal Information has been collected from a person under the age of 13, GetBack will delete this information as quickly as possible. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
GetBack continually strives to ensure your privacy is better protected. As a result,may update this Privacy Policy may be revised from time to time.
