  I said "Ellen is another "real" person among all the fakes in Hollywood. I love her and her show. Not too crazy about Portia tho' ever since I saw photos of her (yeah, in the Enquirer) front page, walking along with her then-live in love (Ringo Starr's step-daughter). They were unaware the paps were spying on them- they got the hots while walking and ducked into an alleyway and while Portia was crouched in front of her lover (who was undoing her jeans), she was looking around to see if anyone was seeing them! Priceless but reeeaaaalll lowdown. "

  I said "What can you say? Dolly is always her sweet self. She was the first to come out and say with pride that her teeth, hair, boobs and nails were fake and said it with a twinkle in her eye. She's always nice to people and is very well liked in showbiz by everyone who knows her. And guess what? These days in Tinseltown ALL the redcarpet ladies have fake hair, fake boobs and fake tans plus a good amount of plastic surgery. Dolly just just did it all first. "

  I said "I just joined and I've gotta' tell you I'm gobsmacked by all the nastiness in the posts. What's with all the hate and nasty back-and-forthing? Life is short people, and the famous are in the same boat as all of us,i.e., only here for a short vacation. So ease up and be nice- Re: Adam, gay or straight? who give a rat's ass? He's a person and a talented one at that. I don't care for his type of music but that's got nothing to do with the man personally."

  On Who was your favorite Designing Woman?...

  I said "The 80's shows were the best. When I'd come home from work I always knew what show was going to entertain me that evening and Designing Women was one of my faves. Each character was so well defined and the interaction was fabulous. One of the best ensemble shows ever. "
