On July 1, one week after Michael Jackson"s death, hundreds of his fans gathered at his Neverland Ranch to pay their respects. GetBack was there to meet Jackson's army and to find out first-hand from some locals what the King of Pop was really like. More Jackson fans at our FANStories Gallery.

She was easy to talk with and laugh with. Who knew she would be gone in such a short time. I became a huge fan that day. Thanks for the memories. Bonny Secrest jenista"

MJ did not buy the Elephant Man's bones as stated in an interview because he stated he was just looking at them and he stated "what would I do with a bunch of bones?" he didn't buy them, media again seized on a "story" and "ran" with it. They did that too often with Michael Jackson. They said he slept in a chaimber of glass to stay young, they made almost everyone believe he was a pedofile, they made everyone believe he bleached his skin [his family was stated to have a history of Vallitigo], look closely at his sister La Toya, her skin is lightening too. He did not commit any crimes because the case was brought on by someone trying to extort money from him. The recent case of David Letterman going though and extortion case seems eerily familiar with MJ's because the doctor that is in the case is behind on child support, and so is the person trying to extort money from Letterman, GO FIGURE! HELLO!! this should be a red flag or 2."

dear jackson family,
your micheal was 1 year older than me. i watched him grow up and thrilled through every famous moment of his life. i had faith in him when he was being harrassed and harranged about the way he veiwed children. he was indeed an angel on earth, and ALL he wanted was to spread joy and have peace in our hardened times for those of us that are jealous and think that they should have what he was able to get for himself. it is a shame that his glorious life ended so young. he will truly be remembered for all the wonderful things he did and not the not so good things he was accused of. my heart goes out to you and hopefully you can find some good things to remember more than the sad things. his legacy will live on FOREVER. mili parks, salt lake city,UT
